Dog Training Camp
The Homestead Dogs Training Camp is designed to relieve the stress of training your dog by leaving them with our certified training staff professionals. We create a warm, loving environment for your dog to thrive. We will train using fun activities, games and lots of distractions in creating a high level of focus and skill. Your dog will be treated as if they (and you) are a part of our family. This customized training program is available for 1 – 4 week stays.
Our spacious and serene camp is located in Delaware county just north of Columbus and provides the perfect training environment for your dog.
Day Camp Training
Day Camp provides owners the opportunity to have us train their dog while still having them home at night. The longer your dog stays, the more polished the skills will be. All campers will have their own sleeping quarters and you can add your own comforts of home with bedding and toys.
Overnight Camp Training
Overnight Camp provides you with high quality training and the confidence that your dog will come home with the skills he/she needs. You will also receive hands-on instructions on how to enforce all the new commands.
Day & Night Camp Training
Both day camp and overnight camp will include daily updates and communication with Homestead Dogs. You will receive a training manual that will act a reference for you to use once your dog returns home. Support is available through refreshing classes that are provided weekly.

We have put both of our yellow labradors through the training camp and couldn’t be happier with the results. This is also the only place we take them for boarding. They love the play sessions with the other dogs!
Our family highly recommends Amy & her staff at Homestead Dogs to train your beloved dog(s). Our GSD was misbehaving with biting, jumping on people, not listening, stealing things off of the kitchen counters, chewing lamp cords. We chose the 2-week training class. Upon return Grace was a different dog!! She listens & responds to commands taught now! We are delighted with the training. Thank you, Amy, for giving us a loved & well behaved dog!!!!
Amy helped us train our very sweet but very hyper Brittany spaniel and her techniques have made a world of difference in our every day lives! While our dog was away at training, Amy sent us photos and videos of her progress and it was clear she really cared. We would definitely recommend Homestead Dogs for training or boarding!
We took our Roxy to the puppy beginning classes and both Roxy and we learned a lot. Roxy as completed 21 days of board and train. They are so helpful and amazing to work with you and your dog.
